About
Rhianna Ring-Howell was practically born on the stage, with both of her parents being opera singers. As a little girl she performed in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin and Bizet’s Carmen in the children’s chorus, and as the 1st Spirit in the Magic Flute. She also performed locally with theatre companies and choirs starting at the age of seven. Rhianna is currently studying classical and musical theatre voice under Dr. Elena Blyskal at Western Connecticut State University.
Most recently she was seen as Jo March in Little Women at the David Levinson Theatre, and as Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood with Crystal Theatre. Other favorite roles include Anna Held in Tintypes (Crystal Theatre), Gianetta in the Gondoliers (Troupers Light Opera), and the 1st Spirit in The Magic Flute (Norwalk Symphony Orchestra). She has been seen as a soprano soloist for Delaware Valley Opera and Crystal Theatre, and has sung for numerous churches throughout Fairfield County including First Congregational Church (in Darien and Ridgfield), St Paul’s on the Green (Norwalk), First Presbyterian Church (Stamford), and First Church of Christ, Scientist (Westport).
Rhianna is also a professional princess, performing at birthday parties and events throughout CT and NY for KO Parties and Sugar and Spice Fairytales. In her spare time, she can be found writing, practicing Taekwondo, or hanging out with her dog.
